Rooms

Our 3 star graded bedrooms include single, "superking" double (with 6ft wide beds) and twin rooms, all with high quality beds enhanced by simple white bed linen and complimented by locally produced, handmade lemongrass and ginger soap.

These rooms have en suite/private bath/shower rooms. All bedrooms have alarm clock/radios, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary shortbread. Rooms are available on the ground floor if required.

We also have two Economy Rooms available, one double room with a 5ft kingsize bed and one twin room. These rooms have been recently refurbished with the same high quality beds, white bed linen and in-room facilities as our standard rooms but they share a bathroom which is situated across the corridor. (Please note that the Economy Rooms are not part of our 3 star VisitScotland grading.)

 

Room Tariff: inclusive of full Scottish breakfast

Single room with en suite bath or shower: £45 per night

Twin room or "Superking" Double room with en suite bath or shower: £90 per night based on two people sharing a double/twin room.

Twin room with private shower room adjacent (robes supplied): £80 per night based on two people sharing.

Economy Rooms: Twin or kingsize Double with shared bathroom (robes supplied): £70 per night based on two people sharing a double/twin room.

Bunkhouse Tariff: £12.50 per person per night

Reduced rates available for sole occupancy bookings of two nights or more. Booking essential. Please telephone 01445 760253 for details.

Specials

Until 31st March 2010 for a stay of three or more nights the tariff for the hotel will be reduced to £35 per person per night.

Drying facilities

A dedicated drying room with dehumidifier is available for guests of the hotel and bunkhouse should you experience one of our wetter days!

Deposit

Bookings are secured on receipt of a valid Credit/Debit card number, or a cheque drawn on a UK bank for an agreed amount.

Payment

We are pleased to accept payment by Credit/Debit card, cash Sterling or a cheque drawn on a UK bank.

We regret we are unable to accept American Express or Diners Club cards.

Cancellations

If a secured booking is cancelled within 5 days or less of the commencement of the holiday, we reserve the right to charge the full Bed and Breakfast rate. If, however, we are able to re-let the room then no charge will be made. Departures prior to the booked departure date wil be treated as cancellations and charged accordingly.

We would recommend that you arrange travel insurance before your holiday.

Children

Young children can disturb the peaceful and relaxed ambience of the hotel therefore we do not accept children under the age of 12 years as residents of either the hotel or bunkhouse.

Under the terms of the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 we are unable to allow children under 5 years of age on the premises. Any children aged 5 years and over, using the hotel facilities, are expected to behave in a polite, quiet and acceptable manner.

Smoking

We operate a strict No-Smoking policy in the Hotel and Bunkhouse and accordingly any guest found to have been smoking in the buildings will be asked to leave and may be liable to a surcharge.
